Priority Butler Status
From August 1st, 2018 we’ll be introducing a ‘Priority’ butler pay scale that is available to all butlers who can meet the basic requirements set out below. We’ll also be revamping our bonus scheme making them easier for you to earn so as a priority butler it’s now very achievable to earn £70 + travel for just a 2 hour event.
As a Priority Butler not only will you be paid more but you’ll be invited first to any event within a 15 miles radius of your address and given 24 hours notice to accept or decline this event before it is offered to other butlers (for last minute bookings less than 5 days prior to the event the 24 hour notice period may not apply).
As a Priority Butler you will however have to adhere to stricter standards of conduct which will include:
1. You must have earned at least three 5* reviews and you must maintain an overall review average of a minimum of 4.5/5.0
(as of 14th July, every time you attend an event the client is asked to rate the experience they had with you. Your overall rating is now available for you to view on your dashboard here…)
2. You must Accept or Decline any job invite with 24 hours of receiving it.
3. You must NOT pull out of an event you’ve accepted less than 7 days before the event more than once in any given 3 month period.
Basic Butler Rates of Pay:
Currently all our butlers are on this pay scale.
1 Hour Booking – £40
2 Hour Booking – £50
Additional Hours – £25 per hour
Priority Butler Rates of Pay:
Our new pay scale offers an increased basic wage and as a priority butler you will receive offers for jobs first and then be given 24 hours to accept or decline these before they are offered to other butlers.
1 Hour Booking – £45
2 Hour Booking – £60
Additional Hours – £25 per hour
New Bonus Scheme
You will now be able to earn two £5 bonuses on top of your wage at every event you attend.
Bonus 1 (£5)
If a guest at the party you attend posts an image of themselves with you and tags @hunksintrunks (on twitter or facebook) or @hunksintrunksofficial (on Instagram) then you’ll have £5 added to your pay.
This bonus should be very achievable at every event you attend as you simply need to find one guest at the party who is willing to share their experience on their social media.
Bonus 2 (£5)
Following every event your client is now sent an email asking them to rate you as a butler and they can then also choose to share this on our Reviews.co.uk page. If they do this and you receive a 5* review you’ll earn a further £5 bonus.
Again this is an extremely achievable bonus and we advise simply mentioning to your client at the end of the event that they’ll be asked to review you and that you’d really appreciate them taking the time to do this.
Becoming a Priority Butler
Our staffing team will automatically begin upgrading butlers, who are achieving these minimum standards, to the Priority Butler status. However, should you feel you are already able to achieve and maintain these standards then you can apply to become a Priority Butler using the form below:
